Daily-ist: Monday

By Katharine Shilcutt Gleave on Dec 29, 2008

Domy Books - Houston, TxIf you're anything like Houstonist, you can easily waste two hours of your life on the trailer show on HDNet, watching trailers from movies past and present and exclaiming to no one in particular, "Oh, The Departed. That was a really good movie!" You know the trailer show... Don't look at us like that.

Instead of commenting on the trailers to your cat or your annoyed spouse, you should head down to Domy Books tonight, where their Monday Movie Night is screening a special event: two hours of trailers.

You know all that crap you get tired of seeing before we actually start a film? Yeah... that stuff. Well, we've got so much of it, we've decided that rather than show a film we're just going to inundate you with a bunch of random trailers and miscellaneous film/video material for two solid hours!

Houstonist recommends coming early to browse the awesome selection of books and other assorted merchandise at Domy, then grabbing a cup of coffee at Brasil next door to perk you back up when the trailer extravaganza is over.

Monday Movie Night
Admission: Free!
Date and Time: December 29th, 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Domy Books, 1709 Westheimer
